- Does our town need Blue Flag certified beaches to join?
- No. The platform serves towns whose beaches hold Blue Flag certification (always year-stamped) and towns whose beaches we track as Certification Candidates working toward certification. The two are never blurred, and the daily-conditions tooling is certification-agnostic — every public beach benefits from a published water-quality record.
- How does the .gov embed widget work?
- Three formats, so your IT department can pick the one it will approve: a self-contained iframe with no cookies, a script-tag widget that renders into a div, or a plain JSON endpoint your developers style themselves. All three show flag status, water quality, and the last-updated stamp, with attribution back to your beach pages.
- What does it cost?
